The story of my pipes – My first pipe was bought in about 1980. Since then I have bought pipes until maybe the 1990’s after which I completely stopped – thought its not proper to spend money on something I’m not really “into”. Since then, I have been smoking a bowl or tow, maybe once or twice a year until I got interested again in September 2013. At first I thought this will “blow over” again…. alas, it didn’t (at least not yet).
I’ve been happy to score some really great buys from the “Bay”. I’ve come to find that all the Savinellis I’ve acquired, ended up to be great smokers. Naturally they have become my favourite pipes. To be fair to my other pipes, I can honestly say that all of the pipes I’ve kept (I’ve sold some which I didn’t like that much, although they were also great smokers), I really enjoy. If I have to take 3 pipes with me, it would be a very difficult decision, but it would probably be my Savinelli Punto Oro, Stanwell Hans Christian Anderson and my Piet-en-Pauw Zulu.
I’m listing my pipes here (which is also on another pages in a tabular format), but also added some detail on the brands as well. When I buy a pipe, I’m always interested where it came from and how is the brand name generally rated. I have posted a YouTube video and a blog here, mostly of my first pipes but this page will be the complete story of all my pipes, old and recent.

Wish-List Pipe Collection
I do have a wish list of pipes in my pipe collection. One which I probably never will have or the guts to buy, is a 1960 Dunhill, or any Dunhill for that matter as they are extremely scarce and expensive. So Dunhill can feature here in my wish-list. Nielsen, Svendborg and WO Larsen is also on my wishlist, but I’m content at this stage and will probably only add to my collection one Dunhill.
